That is a beautiful shop, filled with wonderful handmade crafts and fabrics. No wonder it was recently mentioned in Architectural Digest!
Looking forward to visiting again during the Panama Jazz Fest in January.

Thanks for your posting! you are so right. Some things now seem like so obvious (you always tend to say... of course!!!) from our perspective. But as you look into the history of some cities (especially where the founders didn´t know the nature or geography/ climate of the new location) you scratch your head. Like in the case of Panama (the old Panama, not Casco Viejo). They literally chose a mangrove full of mud and mosquitoes. They looked for the easy access to the water in order to go ahead with the lucrative gold and slave trade... but they just didn´t know about tropical fevers. Huge mistake. The good thing was that they managed to build the new city (Casco Viejo) having learned from their mistakes. Today, if you ever visit, you´ll feel the difference!

All good cities incorporate some of the principles of feng shui because these principles are so universal and
anchored in the study of nature!
I am an artist, designer, feng shui consultant, lover of earth and all things sacred.
Best,
Marjory
